Department of Planning, Realty and Community Services
Mission Statement:
“Provide professional land, building and facilities maintenance, community and economic development planning, and real estate acquisition services to the Coquille Tribe to strengthen sovereign oversight, improve Tribal governance, encourage private sector investment, secure the economic viability of Tribal business investments, and provide long-term sustainable development”
The Department of Planning, Realty and Community Services supports the Coquille Tribe in all capacities that support land, building and facilities maintenance, community and land-use planning, road building, and economic development on Tribal lands. Department staff also provides administrative and technical support to the Tribe’s real estate acquisitions through the Realty committee, and provides work crews to various programs and departments as needed to support Tribal objectives, as well as employment opportunities for Tribal members and their families.
